Human Resources Manager
NCRP’s Human Resource Manager Boyer Bazelais (pronounced “Boz-lez”) Jr is a native of Port Au Prince, Haiti and is a lifelong advocate of social justice work. With a passion for helping others and extensive experience managing complex workforce needs and responsibilities, Boyer focuses on supporting our staff and facilitating any needs they may have.
Although his work is often technically not on the “front lines” of movement work, Boyer’s commitment to service has led him to a career of supporting those individuals who are engaging directly with and for impacted communities. He has over ten years of Human Resource experience in the private and non-profit sector, working in the in the federal government with employers like The Rand Corp before landing with NCP.
Boyer is the first person in his family to receive a four-year degree, he is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College.
A first-generation Haitian American native of Rockville, MD, Boyer is the first person in his family to receive a four-year degree. The University of Maryland graduate enjoys spending time with his godchildren, visiting the beach, and watching his beloved Miami Heat of the NBA play.
