Jackelin Trevino

Membership Movement Manager

Jackelin Trevino brings over a decade of intersectional organizing and campaign management experience to her role as NCRP’s Membership Movement Manager. She is passionate about relationship development, cultivating shared understanding across difference and empowering community visions for how philanthropy can support their movements today and in the future.

A product of the U.S./Mexico borderlands in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Jackelin has supported the development of coalition-based campaigns throughout the U.S. as a facilitator, trainer, and strategist. She is a proud alumnus of the Leadership McAllen (2016), Sierra Club Apprenticeship (2012), Center for Progressive Leadership (2011), and the Bill Archer Fellowship (2011) programs. She is also a 2018 recipient of the Lone Star Sierra Club Chapter Service Award for her intersectional organizing and leadership in Texas. Before joining the NCRP team Jackelin was serving as the Grants Manager for the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures, overseeing the NALAC Fund for the Arts and the Actos de Confianza C-19 Emergency Relief Grant Programs.

Jackelin graduated from her father’s alma mater, the University of Texas- Pan American (now the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) with a B.A. in Communication Studies. In addition to her social movement work, Jackelin is an established movement artist with backgrounds in classical ballet and yoga. She is the founding Director of Pluma Blanca Community Theatre, a RGV based participatory theatre company which centers leadership development and social justice.
