Learning and Engagement Intern
Sophia works with NCRP’s Learning and Engagement team to assist with events and conference engagement and support the development of NCRP’s As the South Grows campaign. Having three years’ experience in the international nonprofit sector, Sophia is excited to sharpen her skills in the domestic philanthropic sector.
Sophia was born in Boulder, Colorado, and grew up all over the country with her military family. She earned her B.A in International Affairs with minors in French and Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. While pursuing this degree, she had the opportunity to travel the world for school and work, and developed a strong passion for gender equity development. Sophia is currently pursuing her M.A in Public Administration and International Management at American University.
