Meet the NCRP team
Membership and Fundraising Intern
Troy assists with NCRP’s non-profit membership and fundraising programs. He primarily supports the work of staffers in building relationships with non-profits across a dozen different social justice movement areas. The remainder of his time is spent aiding NCRP’s own fundraising arm.
A graduate student at American University pursuing a master’s degree in public administration, Troy draws on experience from a smattering of past positions that range from project coordination for an aluminum modular system provider (think Legos but 10’ long and aluminum), to internships on Capitol Hill and a congressional campaign, to work as a tutor/counselor for low-income high schoolers in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He received his bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland with a minor in astronomy – the latter owed to the excessive listening of Neil deGrasse Tyson podcasts. He’s hopeful that all of these will prove beneficial to his work for social justice in philanthropy at NCRP.
